Faq's
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that gradually replaces lost collagen. The results can last up to two years. Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which is indicated for use in patients with healthy immune systems to correct nasolabial fold contour flaws and other facial wrinkles. Sculptra is NOT a filler.
How does it work?
Sculptra works with your body by stimulating fibroblast cells to rebuild lost collagen gradually. As a result, facial volume is gradually restored as collagen strands are rebuilt. Collagen provides our skin structure and shape while providing a more youthful appearance. We lose collagen as we age.
When will I see the results?
Your treatment may seem to have immediate results because of swelling caused by the water used to dilute Sculptra. This resolves in several hours to a few days. Results will then diminish, and you may look as you did pre-treatment. The peak results are visible within three to four months.
How long will the results last?
Results can last up to two to three years.
How many treatments will I need?
